    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Engineer to join our team in Glen Ridge, United States. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.

    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
    • Optimize data storage and retrieval systems to ensure efficient data processing and analysis
    • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide solutions
    • Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity
    • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, architectures, and systems
    • Continuously improve data infrastructure by researching and implementing new technologies and best practices
    • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
    • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of team coding standards
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
    • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java
    • Extensive experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
    • Expertise in data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
    • Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles
    • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git
    • Experience in developing and optimizing data pipelines
    • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
    • Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts is preferred
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
