Salary:

$142,000 - $167,225 + 10% Bonus Target

Summary:

The Data and Integration Architect will play a key role in Signode’s journey of implementing global initiatives regarding master data, analytics, data extraction, and end-to-end integrations with internal and external systems. In this role, you will architect the data models and principles and be hands-on in implementing end-to-end processes, including ETL processes, data cleansing store procedures, data extraction pipelines, etc. You will work with global cross-functional teams from IT and the business to deliver data and integration-centric projects. In this position, you will create and implement data, integration, and security architectures and frameworks across Signode enterprise systems. This position will design, define, and implement a technical architecture for connecting ERPs, CRM, SaaS solutions, databases, and data lakes via integrations.

Essential Functions:

• As a Data and Integration architect, you will define enterprise-level standards, templates, and selection of technology, platforms, and tools in related areas.
• Create data models and templates that help deliver reporting needs for the business via different technologies
• Create ER diagrams for the data warehousing entities
• Coordinates new data developments to ensure consistency with existing data structures across Signode.
• Define overall methodologies of collecting, storing, and disseminating data
• Work with the larger team to ingest data from different sources and create ETL scripts to load them in the data lake/warehouse using toolsets like Boomi, store procedures, Azure data factory, etc.
• Define facts and dimensions as per the reporting needs in Azure Synapse
• Work with BI analysts to create state-of-the-art reports using technologies like PowerBI and SSRS
• Assists in the identification of data integrity problems and recommends solutions
• Define and implement overall data security architecture for data warehousing and reporting
• Lead the data cleansing and massaging initiatives and help define global standards for master data
• Define integration standards, including error handling
• Design and implement integration solutions between various systems, including on-premise to on-premise and SAS
• Manage Boomi environment
• Create security architecture for integration and make sure it’s implemented across all projects

Qualifications

Education:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, Information Technology, or engineering field, or at least twelve (12) years of professional experience in a similar technology role

Experience:

• At least twelve (12) years of IT experience, preferably in data and application roles. At least eight (8) years of experience designing and building complex data and integration solutions. In addition:
• Implemented at least two (2) Enterprise Data Warehouse projects for large enterprises, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• At least eight (8) years of hands-on experience working on different data-centric technologies like databases, ETL tools, data lakes, and data ingestion process
• At least five (5) years of experience in designing and implementing security for data
• 8+ years of experience working with SQL server
• 5+ years of experience with Azure Synapse (SQL data warehouse) and Fabric
• 5+ years of experience in creating PowerBI reports, dashboards, and data models
• Expertise in database design and architecture, data modeling, data mapping & and conversion data load, and creating packages/store procedures for ETLs
• 5+ years of experience in data migration & transformation preferably with D365 FO & CE
• 5+ years of experience in data deduplication and data cleansing
• Understanding and use of machine learning (ML), Python, R a plus
• Experience with D365 FO data entities is a plus
