ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Data Rush strives to be the first choice in the courier industry for contracted services, on-demand courier & freight delivery and white glove home deliveries as well as parts delivery. We look for individuals who take pride in their work and show dedication to their job.

You must enjoy meeting people and be deeply familiar with the Austin area, such as back roads and traffic patterns. You should have a clean background check/driving record and a Texas driver’s license. The COURIER DRIVER must be able to lift packages up to 70 pounds and bend and twist as necessary.

JOB SUMMARY:

Picking up and delivering packages in a timely manner, with great communication skills.

DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to customers on time
• Interact with customers in a professional manner
• Work occasional evenings and weekends
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery van and notify manager of any issues
• Drive in inclement weather, such as heavy rain & light snow
• Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
• YOU WILL USE YOUR OWN VEHICLE AND GAS.
• Vehicle must be in good working condition with paperwork up to date.
• You will need a smartphone, valid Texas driver's license and be at least 21 years old.
• Serious and experienced drivers only, please.

DRIVER SKILLS

• Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
• Strength to lift up to 70 pounds plus bending and twisting
• Work well independently
• Open and transparent communication
• Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps
