    Overview

    The Data and Impact Manager will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a coordinated and comprehensive evaluation and data system across Peter Paul’s education, family, community and volunteer programs. In collaboration with other Peter Paul departments, this Data and Impact Manager will identify key areas for evaluation, build capacity across the organization, and use data and evaluation to improve internal program practices, measure and enhance impact and drive decision making. The person in this position should embody Peter Paul’s values and share a passion for the mission.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Build and maintain an integrated database for the tracking of Peter Paul students, program participants and families and Community Action Network (CAN) initiatives

    Serve as project lead for database changes, expansion and rollouts

    Establish policies and procedures related to data entry, extraction and usage

    Provide ongoing training to staff regarding the inputting, accessing and analysis of data

    Manage mass communications systems for program participants

    Serve as primary point of contact with database vendors

    Provide data for grant applications and reports including program highlights and talking points

    Provide data and content for annual report

    Represent Peter Paul in local collaboratives, serving as a resource to other organizations as needed to elevate the work of the collective for the region

    Advocate for and present Peter Paul models to external audiences

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

    Minimum of 3 years of data management experience

    Knowledge of research and evaluation methods and designs

    Comfort with data management platforms and analytics

    Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

    Ability to work well with people and independently when needed

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to communicate complex ideas and data to diverse audiences

    Ability to work in productive, collaborative partnerships with staff, partner organizations and key stakeholders

    Compensation and Benefits

    This part-time position requires being available during program hours (2:30 – 6:00 PM) and some evenings and weekends (up to 30 hours/wk.) and will report to the Director of Education. The hourly rate ranges from $21-$30/hr. and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
