We seek an experienced Senior Database Administrator with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and cloud-based database solutions. The ideal candidate will manage database performance, optimization, security, upgrades, and automation. This role involves leveraging modern tools and techniques to ensure our database systems' reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Optimize database performance using advanced tools.

Manage backup, restore, and data archiving processes.

Implemented and maintained best security practices for Microsoft SQL Server.

Configure and manage AlwaysOn, transactional replication, and clustering.

Ensure seamless database upgrades and migrations.

Designed and implemented Database PAAS solutions in cloud environments, including Azure.

Develop and maintain CI/CD processes for database-related tasks.

Automate routine tasks using scripting tools like Shell and PowerShell.

Work with Azure Data Factory to design and implement ETL processes.

Apply expertise in data warehouse architecture, CDC tools, and replication mechanisms.

Perform database installations, patching, and upgrades.

Monitor and maintain system health to ensure high availability.

Basic Qualification:

Proficiency in T-SQL scripting and batch processing.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Analysis Services (SSAS).

Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB or MongoDB.

Expertise in Azure cloud services, Ansible, Terraform, and Datadog.

Strong knowledge of database security, patching, and upgrades.

Proven experience with replication and change data capture tools.

Ability to manage and troubleshoot complex database environments.
