    Zantech is looking for a talented Database Administrator to support our Federal Client during a cutting-edge enterprise information technology implementation.

    This upcoming project offers cloud infrastructure specialists an opportunity to manage and secure federal hosting environments requiring high-level security compliance. This project provides capacity planning, disaster recovery implementation, and providing 24/7 technical support for mission-critical applications in AWS GovCloud environments. Ideal candidates will have experience with infrastructure as a service (IaaS), security compliance frameworks like NIST and RMF, and technical skills in areas such as virtualization, monitoring, and network security.

    Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Provides all activities related to database administration
    • Projects long-range database requirements
    • Designs, creates, and maintains databases in client/server environment
    • Conducts quality control and auditing to ensure appropriate data use
    • Advises users on database access
    • Implements and maintains complex databases
    • Applies knowledge of database technologies and programming languages
    • Performs database programming and systems design
    • Maintains database dictionaries, standards, and integration

    Required Qualifications:

    • Five years progressive experience with database query languages (Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, MS Access)
    • Three years hands-on experience with Relational Database Management Systems
    • Experience with various operating systems and programming languages
    • Experience in at least two large organization projects administering, maintaining, and securing large-scale databases
    • Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitive
    • Clearance: Secret
    • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
    • Computing Environment certifications (as listed)
