FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fulfill our Day Porter position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing day porter custodial services for a commercial facility located in Lafayette, LA; maintaining cleanliness, safety, and a positive environment during business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm).

Essential Job Duties:

Board room set up as requested and per the board room set up calendar

Regular cleaning and disinfection of common areas (Lobby, restrooms, etc.)

Light maintenance (changing light bulbs, minor repairs as requested by the operations engineer, etc.)

Trash removal and recycling

Monitoring and restocking supplies

Follow a detailed schedule of day porter shifts

Provide a monthly report of completed tasks

Provide a budget estimate for the proposed services

Required Skills and Abilities:

Make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion, and Integrity

Must have at least 3 years of day porter experience

Time management

Must be reliable and punctual

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening

Ability to adhere to our drug and alcohol free workplace policy

Valid driver's license

Benefits:
