Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience in guiding children, developing curriculum, and teaching social/emotional and self-help skills. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment that meets the needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities: • Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. • Guide and support children in developing self-help skills, such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene. • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social interactions and emotional growth. • Monitor and assess each child’s progress, providing individualized support and adapting teaching methods as needed. • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning community. • Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other required training. • Adhere to all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications: •EEC certified teachers preferred or assistant teachers with multiple years of experience. •Minimum of 1 year experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting. • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to create and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans. • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). • Ability to pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements.
