We are seeking a reliable, organized, and experienced individual to prepare daily meals for our children in accordance with CACFP guidelines. The ideal candidate is someone who loves cooking, understands the importance of child nutrition, and enjoys working in a childcare or school setting.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks for children ages 0 – 5 years
Ensuring meals meet CACFP nutritional standards and portion requirements
Managing food inventory and placing orders as needed
Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
Supporting allergy and dietary needs with safe, appropriate meal options
Qualifications:
Experience cooking for groups in a childcare or school setting (required)
Familiarity with CACFP meal pattern requirements (preferred)
ServSafe certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to work independently and follow a daily schedule
Strong organizational and time management skills
