    Position Duties include:

    Child supervision and care before drop offs and after pickups.

    Communication with parents via Brightwheel App to confirm pickup and dropoff needs.

    Follow schedule to drop off and pick up children on time Monday through Friday to various schools near our center.

    Schedule and carry out needed maintenance on center 15 passenger vans.

    Keep center transport vehicles clean and filled with gas.

    Position Requirements:

    Available between hours of 7:00 AM-6:00 PM Monday through Friday

    Must be 18 years or older.

    Must be able to and willing to operate a mini van and 15 passenger van. (You will get training! Its easier then you think 😉)

    Must have a valid Drivers License with a good driving record (parking tickets not a problem)

    Must be able to pass a background check, have no record of child abuse or neglect, attend a Pediatric CPR and First Aid Training class.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist the lead teacher in carrying out the curriculum and daily activities, including long and short-range goals.

    Maintain a consistent daily routine, including classroom structures, mealtimes, physical play, a nap period, and outside play.

    Assist in conflict management between children in the classroom; teach them skills they still need to learn.

    Being respectful and creating partnerships with your co-workers; must possess a solid ability to communicate positively and openly.

    Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff; this includes cleaning responsibilities throughout the day.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or GED required

    Previous experience as a teacher’s aide is preferred

    Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

    Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Energetic and positive attitude
