We are growing and we’re looking for a dedicated, energetic, and motivated staff member to join our team. This opportunity is part-time, and we are seeking support for our closing shift, with availability from 3:30-6:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Responsibilities: TA will assist with the implementation of lesson plans based on our guidelines. Most importantly, they will create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning! Job Responsibilities: • Assist teachers in preparing lesson plans and materials for classes • Deliver age and developmentally appropriate interaction with the children to support play, exploration, and learning • Meet the individual needs of the children including feeding and diapering • Participate in staff and training meetings • Meet NJ state requirements • Monitor and assess student progress to inform instruction • Help to ensure a healthy classroom environment, including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and the safety and security of children Benefits: We offer... • Paid training for CPR and First Aid • An Outstanding company culture! • Employee Referral Program • Flexible Schedule Qualifications: Teacher Assistant Qualifications : • Minimum 1-year experience in a group setting working directly with infants and toddlers • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices • A kind and patient nature; A desire to foster a productive and fun learning environment through positive goal setting in a team environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA is a plus Compensation: $16 hourly
