    Colt's & Filly's Childcare provides exceptional child care, day care, early learning, infant care, and preschool services to the Mason, MI area. We are dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for both our staff and the children in our care.

    Role Description:

    We are looking for friendly, caring individuals to join our amazing team as Daycare Teachers. In this role, you will implement our curriculum, create a nurturing environment, and build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. You will also support the center’s goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

    Required Qualifications:

    Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education

    Must be 18 years or older

    Outstanding customer service skills

    Strong organizational abilities and the ability to multi-task

    CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

    Meet state-specific qualifications for the role (or willingness to obtain)

    Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willingness to obtain)

    Physically able to use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors

    Ability to assume low-level postures for interacting with children and engage in physical activity

    Strong communication skills for interacting with parents and children

    Creativity in planning and implementing activities

    Teamwork and collaboration skills

    Responsibilities as a Daycare Teacher at Colt's & Filly's Childcare:

    Implement our curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child

    Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn

    Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children

    Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement

    Cultivate positive relationships with families, children, and staff

    Plan and execute creative and engaging activities for children

    Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and needs

    Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive environment
