801 Fish Minneapolis is hiring for a Daytime Host position. 801 Fish serves delicious coastal fresh seafood, wines, and specialty cocktails in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, outgoing, skilled with in-person and telephone interaction, high-energy and able to remain upbeat and positive in stressful situations.

Daytime Host: This is a part-time position working 10:30 am - 2:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week.

Position Requirements/Experience Desired:

Greet guests in a positive and friendly manner.

Ability to work with computer systems.

Experience working with OpenTable and general knowledge of reservation systems is required.

Seat guests as quickly and efficiently as business allows.

Answer telephone in a friendly and upbeat manner within 3 rings.

Gather feedback from guests upon departure.

Help clear and reset tables as needed.

Keep bathrooms stocked and cleaned throughout shift.

Anticipate and exceed your guest’s expectations.

Keep Management informed of potential problems.

Work as a team using positive communication

Clean, stock, and maintain host workstation

Regular, predictable and reliable attendance.

Physical Requirements include, but are not limited to:

Ability to work in a fast paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment during entire shift.

Ability to spend 98% of shift standing and walking.

Must have a good sense of balance

Ability to bend and kneel; ability to lift bus pans and trays weighing up to 30 pounds frequently throughout shift.

Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees.

Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy (with correction) and see to 20/20 vision (with correction).
