    Reports To: Restaurant Manager

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Daytime Server to join our team! As a Daytime Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a welcoming environment while providing top-notch customer service in our restaurant.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
    - Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding food and beverage items.
    - Take accurate food and drink orders using the point-of-sale system.
    - Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and quality.
    - Monitor and attend to guests’ needs throughout their dining experience.
    - Effectively handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and care.
    - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal preparation.
    - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
    - Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
    - Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
    - Complete side work duties, such as refilling condiment containers and cleaning glassware.
    - Engage with guests in a friendly and positive manner to enhance their dining experience.

    Qualifications:
    - Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or similar establishment preferred.
    - Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
    - Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
    - Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
    - Must have or be willing to obtain relevant food and beverage safety certifications (e.g., ServSafe).

    Physical Requirements:
    - Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
    - Must be able to lift up to [insert weight, typically around 30-50 lbs] to aid in carrying trays and serving food.
    - Good manual dexterity for handling utensils, glasses, and plates.
