RAPIDLY EXPANDING CONSULTING FIRM IS SEEKING A SKILLED RESTORATION ESTIMATOR- CLAIMS ADJUSTER/BUILDING CONSULTANT WHO DESIRES TO LEARN AND GROW AS A PROFESSIONAL. Excellent opportunity for an experienced Contractor/Restoration Estimator /Claims Adjuster to advance their career in the field of Building Consulting. The ideal candidate would have 3 - 5+ years of Adjusting, Restoration/Roofing cost estimating, or equivalent experience in the industry. Excellent Xactimate skills are required. The ideal candidate would have solid knowledge of general cost estimating principles and be motivated to learn more. The ideal candidate would have excellent writing skills and be able to apply strong analytical thinking to reports and estimates including providing accurate, logical, and thorough pricing and cost details and supporting documentation. Candidates who wish to advance their career and work to obtain professional certifications (IICRC, RRO, etc.) are highly preferred.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct building investigations, condition surveys, and other hands-on field work.
• Provide cost estimating functions such as quantity take-offs, building materials sourcing, developing budgetary costs, and analyzing cost-related data.
• Solicit pricing data and contractor bids through various industry sources.
• Produce detailed cost estimates within specified architectural or engineering recommendations.
• Develop reports and cost documentation.
• Responsible for tracking and managing project assignment.
• Other duties, responsibilities, and activities as required.
• Some travel is required.
• This position will be based out of our San Antonio office and interface/visit with our D/FW office regularly.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 3 - 5+ years Adjusting, Restoration/Roofing cost estimating or equivalent experience in commercial, industrial, and residential construction.
• Excellent writing and communications skills are required.
• High proficiency in Xactimate is required.
• High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, etc. is required.
• Industry related professional certifications are preferred.
• BS in construction management or related field is preferred but not required.
• General knowledge of documentation and claims handling.
