    Overview:

    Powersports of Modesto is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Parts Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parts inventory management, particularly in receiving and stocking, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. A passion for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and all things powersports is a must!

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Service: Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts and accessories for their vehicles while providing a friendly, professional experience.

    Parts Sales: Efficiently manage counter sales by responding to customer inquiries, processing transactions, and upselling additional products or services.

    Receiving and Stocking: Handle incoming parts shipments, verify accuracy, and ensure proper stocking and organization of inventory.

    Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular stock checks, and assist with inventory cycle counts to minimize discrepancies.

    Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of parts catalogs, vehicle schematics, and powersports equipment to provide accurate recommendations.

    Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service and sales teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

    Problem Solving: Address customer concerns or discrepancies with orders and inventory promptly and professionally.

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in a parts counter or related role, preferably in a powersports, automotive, or similar industry.

    Strong knowledge of powersports vehicles (motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, etc.) and their components.

    Experience with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory in a retail or dealership environment.

    Proficiency with parts management software and dealership management systems (Lightspeed experience is a plus).

    Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a passion for powersports.

    Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
