    Wipro Givon USA has an exciting new opportunity for an Assembly Mechanic to join our team. This position assembles fabricated/machined metal parts and standards into partial or completed assemblies.

    Abilities - Are you a good fit:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, work orders, specifications, drawings, blueprints, and procedure manuals.

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

    Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    The ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities - What will you do daily:

    Reads and interprets written work order instructions, specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine appropriate tool requirements to perform deburr operations.

    Removes sharp edges and excess material from machined and/or sheet metal parts, to within the required tolerances as given on work order instructions and specifications.

    References work orders to verify correct quantities of parts are received, deburred, and subsequently forwarded to the next operation.

    Uses a variety of precision measuring instruments and tools to inspect deburr work performed; ensuring proper tolerances are maintained.

    Sets up, operates, and performs daily preventive maintenance of all machinery and equipment used in the department.

    Complies with all company rules, policies, and procedures. Works and behaves safely by following all safety rules and regulations.

    Responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance to ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems.

    Performs any task required to support customer requirements and company goals.
