Emerge is actively recruiting for a Deisel Mechanic for a fantastic client company in Brunswick GA. The Deisel Mechanic will perform all phases of equipment repairs for the fleet of diesel trucks, tankers, and flatbeds. Competitive salary and benefits package!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

\- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes and lubrications
\- Repair, reline, replace and adjust brakes
\- Perform welding and cutting
\- Trouble shoot and repair electrical issues
\- Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas
\- Adhere to company rules and regulations
\- Complete work orders and discuss work with supervisor

Knowledge and Competency Requirements:

\- Previous experience as a diesel mechanic- Knowledge of shop equipment
\- Welding skills
\- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
\- Deadline and detail-oriented
\- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Education and/or Experience:

-High school diploma or equivalent required.
