Qualifications
Event Industry Experience
- Proven history in the events and conferences industry, particularly in financial services or related sectors
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Customer Experience, and Commercial departments
- Experience in developing and articulating value propositions for key personas within the financial technology and payments ecosystem
- In-depth understanding of the event lifecycle and delegate acquisition strategies
Sales Expertise
- Strong track record in direct sales, with proficiency in both phone and email outreach
- Demonstrated success in delegate sales, preferably for high-profile industry conferences or events
- Experience in key account management and development of long-term client relationships
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively, especially when dealing with group bookings or VIP attendees
- Consistent achievement of sales targets and revenue goals
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives and industry professionals
- Strong presentation skills, capable of articulating the value of Money20/20 to diverse audiences
- Ability to serve as a brand ambassador, representing Money20/20 professionally in all interactions
Analytical and Organizational Skills
- Detail-oriented approach to work, with a focus on accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Experience in creating and maintaining weekly sales reports and analytics
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools
- Ability to analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to improve performance
Industry Knowledge
- Strong interest and knowledge in financial technology, payments, and the broader financial services industry
- Understanding of current trends and challenges in the fintech and payments sectors
- Ability to stay updated on industry developments and leverage this knowledge in sales conversations

Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Events Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
