We are seeking a Deli Counter Person to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and identify customer needs

Slice Cold Cuts as ordered by customers

Make sandwiches

Pack and price various prepared foods as ordered by customers

Explain products and services to customers

Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock

Enter and process customer orders

Unload deliveries pertaining to deli department and/or other departments of store.

Assist in cleanup of deli equipment, deli area and/or other departments of store

Qualifications:

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to build rapport with customers

Excellent verbal communication skills
