Genalco Inc. is leading supplier of heavy equipment, industrial, and contractor suppliers in the North East, We have 5 locations in Needham, MA | Warwick, RI | Springfield, MA | West Haven, CT I Londonderry New Hampshire.
Job Responsibilities:
· Pull parts from stock
· Respond promptly to customer pick-up orders
· Put parts in stock from daily stock orders, branch transfers, credits, etc.
· Assemble hydraulic hoses
· Pack and ship parts as needed
· Truck deliveries as required
· Ensure accuracy of pulled parts and returned parts
· Research inventory discrepancies
· Maintain will-call area and parts warehouse areas for parts retrieval accuracy
· Maintain proper flow of orders to be pulled
· Work in a proactive, safe manner in compliance with all safety practices, policies, and training.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with all Contamination Control Initiatives
Physical Requirements:
· Standing and walking most of the day
· Lifting (up to 60lbs.)
· Carrying (up to 15lbs.)
· Push/pull (up to 55lbs.)
· Forward bending and reaching
· Occasional sitting and rotation
· Hand coordination
A clean & valid driver’s license required
· Previous experience working in a warehouse and forklift experience preferred
· Organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask is required
· Computer literate
