About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver with a CDL to join our team at Leachman Lumber Co. As an independent lumberyard located in Des Moines, IA, we take pride in providing top-notch service to our customers, and we are seeking a dedicated individual to help us continue that tradition.

Responsibilities:

Transport lumber and building materials to and from job sites

Operate and maintain delivery truck in a safe and efficient manner

Provide excellent customer service during delivery and at job sites

Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed

Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies

Requirements:

Valid CDL with clean driving record

Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the lumber or construction industry

Ability to lift heavy materials and operate equipment as needed

Strong communication and customer service skills

Attention to detail and commitment to safety
