Deliver and install appliances and furniture for our family-owned store!

We are looking for a full-time Appliance and Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team of dedicated professionals. We are a family-owned and operated hardware store that has been serving our community for over 60 years. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where everyone is valued. As an Appliance and Furniture Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading delivery trucks, delivering goods to customer homes, removing old appliances and furniture, installing new appliances and furniture, and testing and cleaning all equipment before leaving. You will also work directly with sales and service teams to resolve any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

· Strong back and ability to lift 80+ pounds

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

· Eagerness to learn new skills

· Commitment to excellence

· Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with a high attention to detail

· Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

· Tow-Motor or front-end loader experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

· Inspect all goods to ensure they are in working order and undamaged before delivery

· Load and unload delivery trucks

· Deliver goods to customer homes

· Remove old appliances and furniture

· Install new appliances and furniture

· Test and clean all equipment before leaving

· Contact customers with updates if delivery time fluctuates

· Work with the delivery coordinator to set up and complete routes

· Maintain delivery trucks, inside and out

· Work directly with sales and service teams to resolve any issues

Benefits:

· Full-time employment (40 hours/week) with overtime as needed

· Off most national holidays
