Role Overview
The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting alarm and security equipment to client locations safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Safely and securely transport alarm and security equipment to client locations using company vehicles.
Ensure that all equipment is properly loaded, secured, and protected during transit to prevent damage or loss.
Plan delivery routes efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize travel time.
Utilize navigation tools and GPS devices to navigate routes and reach destinations accurately and on time.
Assist installation technicians with unloading equipment and delivering it to designated locations within client properties.
Provide support as needed during equipment installation and setup, following instructions from installation technicians.
Interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner during equipment delivery and installation.
Answer basic questions about the delivery process and provide information on next steps as needed.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure that company vehicles are in good working condition.
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
Complete delivery logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation accurately and legibly.
Maintain organized records of deliveries, including signatures, timestamps, and any relevant notes or comments.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies while operating company vehicles.
Follow safe driving practices and maintain a defensive driving mindset to prevent accidents and ensure personal and public safety.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a delivery driver or similar role is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is a plus.
