    The Sales Associate must be detail oriented team player with a positive attitude who demonstrates flexibility and strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have the ability to act and operate within a team setting to accomplish the Delta Storage business objectives.

    Delta Storage currently has an opening for a Sales Associate at our Bayonne location. This is a brand-new state of the art facility. All the items you need to be successful are at your disposal to achieve excellence.   

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide exceptional service to our customers and sales leads over the phone as well as to walk-in customers. our goal is 110% customer satisfaction.
    • Sell and recommend appropriate unit sizes and services based on individual customers' needs.
    • Utilize our software to lease units accurately, sell ancillary products, and maintain customer records.
    • Conduct daily visual and space audits of entire facility.
    • Help to maintain facility cleanliness by cleaning as instructed by the Storage Center Manager.
    • Work with the Storage Center Manager to achieve the goals set by management team.
    • Report property maintenance concerns to Storage Center Manager.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by Storage Center Manager.

    SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
    • Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections.
    • Strong work ethic and self-starter.
    • Must possess and professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers in person and over the phone.
    • Prior experience in retail, hospitality or customer service is preferred.
    • Basic Computer Skills.
    • Proficient in the basic operations of Microsoft Office
    • Driver’s license is required
