Job Summary :
MakarttPro is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Demand Planner Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure the right products are available at the right time to meet our customer needs. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, be bilingual in English and Chinese, and thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align forecasts with business goals and promotional plans.
- Analyze demand data and provide recommendations to optimize inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and prevent stockouts.
- Track and adjust forecasts based on real-time changes in demand, supply chain constraints, and market dynamics.
- Prepare regular reports on demand planning performance, key metrics, and improvement opportunities.
- Support new product launches by coordinating demand planning efforts with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) meetings to ensure alignment across departments.
- Use data analysis tools and ERP systems (Excel proficiency required) to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is required.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate data and create complex models.
- Experience in the beauty industry or a similar fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with flexibility to be in-office in downtown Dallas as required.
