Responsibilities
Cultivating meaningful relationships with both patients and staff
Understanding all aspects of how the clinic is most efficiently and effectively run
Ensuring that patients feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience
Assisting in the performance of quality and caring clinical dentistry
Readying the patient and preparing the operatory and equipment
Becoming dependably adept at assigned clinical procedures
Assisting the doctor during examinations and treatment
Accurately recording information in patient charts
Reviewing medical history, progress, and scheduling treatment plans
Maintaining instruments, equipment, inventory, labs, and treatment rooms
Ensuring safety and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
Setting up coworkers for success by knowing what they need and when they need it
Qualifications

Previous experience with chairside dental assisting preferred
Coronal polishing/sealant/nitrous/CPR certifications a plus
