Northeast Philadelphia pediatric dental office looking for part-time Dental Assistant to join our team. 5-day work week (1pm – 5pm), with 1 evening (1pm –8pm) per week, totaling 22+ hours per week. No weekends.

We are a single doctor practice with tight knit team that has been serving the community for over 35 years.

The ideal candidate is hard working, a team player, detail-oriented, reliable, enjoys working with children and other people, and able to communicate well with patients, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities include:

Chairside dental assisting

Sterilizing instruments and equipment

Setting up and breaking down rooms

Taking x-rays and dental impressions

Coordinating patient care with front desk

Maintaining and keeping clinical records in order

Unboxing materials, verifying orders and stocking supplies

Required qualifications:

Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting

Experience as a dental assistant or graduate of a dental assisting program

Radiology certification

CPR certification

Preferred qualifications:

Working knowledge of Dentrix dental management software

Speaking a foreign language is helpful
