Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental team. The ideal candidate must be dependable and have a genuine passion for working with children and their families. This role is vital in creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe and comfortable during their dental visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.

• Build rapport with young patients and their families to foster a positive dental experience.

• Educate parents and children about oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.

• Utilize behavior modification techniques to help manage children's anxiety and ensure cooperative behavior during procedures.

• General Patient Charting and Documentation

• Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid Dental Assistant (DA) Course certification.

• CPR Certification

• Infection Control Certification

• Radiology X-ray Certification

• Coronal Polish Certification

• Experience in a pediatric dental setting is preferred but not required.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine love for working with children.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents.

• A proactive advocate for oral health education and preventive care
