Schedule for the Dental Assistant:
Monday - Friday: 8AM - 5PM
Saturday: 8AM - 1PM
*Team is to be at the office 30 minutes prior to start time.
Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant:
Current BLS (CPR), anesthesia certification, and Illinois dental X-ray certification
Prior experience in oral surgery assisting, sterilization, and digital dental radiography preferred
Experience with oral surgery procedures, dental implants, and IV anesthesia is a plus
Assist in dentoalveolar and implant surgery using general anesthesia and IV sedation
Provide patients with pre-op and post-op instructions
Take dental x-rays and impressions to provide diagnostic information
Ensure proper sterilization of instruments
Manage ordering of office equipment and supplies
Self-motivated with a strong focus on exceeding patient expectations
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Energetic, eager to learn, and dedicated to providing outstanding patient care
