We are an up and coming, privately owned dental practice in Oak Cliff, Dallas area, looking for part time and full time dental assistant. We strive to make this an excellent place for anyone to work. Requirement: • Know ortho is a plus • Must be fluent in Spanish • Char-side assisting, sterilization, taking x-rays, taking impressions, etc.. • Detail oriented, organization skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated • Ability to multi-task when needed • Able to work on Saturdays and late hours if needed. • Initial wage based on experience. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Responsibilities: • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including preparing the patient, sterilizing instruments, passing instruments during the procedure, and providing patient education. • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays). • Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, maintain appropriate infection control standards. • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures. • Schedule and confirm appointments, handle billing and insurance claims, and maintain patient records. Qualifications: • State Licensed Registered Dental Assistant • Dental Assisting Experience • BLS/CPR Certification • US Work Authorization • Proficient in dental terminology and procedures • Fluent in Spanish • Ortho is a plus Compensation: $15 - $21 hourly
