No old stale office here! We are not a dental mill. We have a dedicated sterile tech to sterilize instruments and help with the period charting. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU ARE A LICENSED DENTAL HYGIENIST IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. Responsibilities: • Assist dentists with determining the best treatment plan for all kinds of dental diseases • Inform patients of all ages about how to care for their teeth by brushing and flossing on a regular basis • Make impressions of patients’ teeth to ensure their mouthguards, dentures, etc. are made correctly • Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur • Perform preliminary dental examinations to get an overview of the patient’s oral health history for the dentist Qualifications: • Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state • Certified to perform CPR • 1-2 years of work experience as a dental hygienist I understand that if I do not have a Texas State License to practice dental hygiene I cannot be considered and will not apply. Compensation: $40-$45
