You’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough, dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. Our office hours are: Monday/Tuesday from 9 AM to 6 PM, Wednesday/Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 8 AM to 1 PM. Hours/ Days: We are seeking coverage for two shifts: • Monday/Tuesday from 9 AM to 6 PM • Wednesday/Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, • Rotating Fridays from 8 AM to 1 PM. Responsibilities: • Prevent tooth decay by providing a thorough dental cleaning and applying protective sealants, such as fluoride • Use molds to create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so that their mouthguards, dentures, veneers, etc. are correctly made • Inform patients of all ages about how to care for their teeth by brushing and flossing on a regular basis • Clean dental instruments to ensure everything is sterilized properly • Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of before, during, and after the examination A day in the life: • Arriving 15 minutes early every day for the morning huddle to start the day off on a positive & motivational note! • Work with the doctor to problem solve, take care of patients, and meet their oral health care needs. • Prepare the treatment room for patients by adhering to current procedures and protocols. • Take panoramic and digital radiographs correctly & schedule patients. • Follow Hygiene and Perio Protocols to accurately diagnose and treatment plan. • Treating every patient with compassion and keeping the Enamel way & humor at the forefront of appointments. • Chart Patient notes during exam and treatment presentations and educate patients empathetically to value oral hygiene • Treating every patient with compassion and keeping the Enamel way & humor at the forefront of appointments. • Use iTero scanner to scan and review patients’ Bite Assessment, and Intraoral Camera to take photographs and thoroughly discuss patients’ current oral condition. Other software includes Modento, Blue Note & Open Dental. Qualifications: • Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time • 1+ years of experience in dental hygiene work • Superb customer service and communication skills • Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines • Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene • Must have a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations • Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist License in the current state • Hold a valid CPR Certification • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Must have excellent customer service skills • New grads are encouraged to apply Compensation: $50 hourly to start
