Responsibilities: • Prevent tooth decay by providing a thorough dental cleaning and applying protective sealants, such as fluoride • Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur • Assist dentists with determining the best treatment plan for all kinds of dental diseases • Advise patients on how to properly care for their teeth after a procedure or operation • Document patient visits and keep health records current Qualifications: • Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines • Capable of standing all day to assist patients • Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required Compensation: $60 potential hourly
