    We are looking to hire the best Clinical Team members to support our dental practices.  We are seeking individual who are driven and team-oriented.

    Dental Hygienist 

    The Dental Hygienist is responsible for providing patients with preventative and periodontal oral care by performing and interpreting dental radiographs, performing oral cancer screenings, performing preventative and non-surgical periodontal therapies, and educating patients. This role requires a deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules, a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies, a steady hand, and a heart for excellence in dental hygiene practice.

       Role-Specific Responsibilities:   

    Updating and reviewing patients' medical and dental history, chart, and treatment plan

    Communicating with patients to prepare for future appointments and align treatment expectations. 

    Examining patients' teeth and surrounding tissue to diagnose and treat full-mouth oral health issues.

    Taking and leveraging X-rays and digital imaging to guide oral examinations. 

    Creating treatment plans for needed restorative treatment or referral.

    Providing preventative and periodontal treatment to patients to improve oral healthcare. 

    Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices and advising them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures. 

    Performing oral cancer screenings

    Recording noted dental caries, periodontal findings, and oral pathology.

    Performing preventative and non-surgical periodontal treatment. 

    Applying fluorides, sealants, and other dental caries preventative agents.

    Sharpening and sterilizing instruments

    Maintaining a dental hygiene program for patients

    Working with dentists and dental assistants.

    Understanding and following current OSHA standards and policies.

    Role-Specific Requirements:   

    An associate degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.

    State dental hygiene license in good standing

    Current CPR license

    Current Hepatitis B vaccinations

    Local anesthesia license

    Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    Comfortable with computers for a variety of tasks

    Knowledge of the relationship between oral health and systemic health  

    Leadership and problem-solving skills. 

    Friendly, professional, and highly organized.
