Our busy dental practice in North Jersey is looking to add a full-time Dental Billing Specialist who is comfortable speaking to patients about Treatment Plans.

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 2 years Dental experience.

Must be familiar with dental terminology and procedures.

Knowledge of PPO's, Union, Med-Type, HMO's and DMO's insurances.

Knowledge on verifying insurances.

Calculating copays, deductible, and out of pocket fees.

Knowledge on Care Credit & financial programs

Reading EOB's and ledgers

Effectively review and research claims denials and contact payers to verify detailed denial reasons when necessary.

Responsibilities:

Navigate and research insurance policies & benefits for policy exclusions for patients.

Knowledgeable of dental EOB’s, patient deductibles and co-pays, and insurance or third-party correspondence.

Discussing Pre-Authorizations with patients in office or over the phone.
