Office Manager for Crossville, TN
The Office Manager is responsible for office and employee oversight. The Office Manager is one of the most critical roles in the office and their primary focus is to achieve the targets set for the dental team on a daily basis. Success in this role requires leadership and communication with all members of your team throughout the day.
The ideal candidate for the Office Manager should possess confidence and a meticulous approach to patient workflow, clinical and operational results. To succeed in this role, superb scheduling ability is a must! Excellent communication skills are essential for both staff and patients. Exceptional organizational abilities are crucial to maintain an efficiently functioning workspace. It is crucial to have a comprehensive understanding of ADA coding and be proficient in utilizing patient management resources. This office uses Curve software.

Responsibilities:
Build and maintain schedule that holds to the Open Door Dental Clinical standard.
Ensure patient pre-authorizations are sent and approved.
Collect and review daily mail.
Handle and oversee in-office collections and make daily deposits.
Review of weekly EOBs.
Ensure office productivity and manage all internal office procedures, practices and equipment.
Ensure that office staff members are efficiently performing their roles correctly and achieving targets.
Understanding of patient scheduling and scheduling daily targets.
Respond to operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
Work well with the dental team.
Manage metrics set by the dental practice.
Enforce proper clinical documentation to be completed promptly.
Ensure proper clinical documentation is acquired for cases that require pre-determination.
Manage in-office patient collections and balances.
Responsible for ensuring insurance claims are billed correctly and accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure that the office is managing patient confirmations in a timely manner.
Present daily operational report at close of the day.

Role Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of dental administration experience and a 2-year degree
Leadership and problem-solving skills.

Professional and highly organized.
Complete understanding of scheduling for dental practices.
Complete understanding of dental billing and insurance procedures.
Technology proficiency is required.
The ability to communicate professionally with verbal and written interpersonal communications with co-workers and colleagues respectfully.
