Key Responsibilities:
Greeting Patients:
Welcome patients and visitors warmly.
Scheduling Appointments:
Manage appointment schedules, including booking, canceling, and rescheduling.
Assisting Patients:
Guide patients in completing forms and understanding office policies.
Managing Payments:
Collect payments and prepare billing statements in collaboration with the PCC.
Handling Insurance:
File insurance claims, track their progress, and communicate with insurance providers in collaboration with the PCC and Biller.
Maintaining Records:
Scan, file, and organize patient records accurately.
Managing Inventory:
Track office supplies and order additional stock as necessary in collaboration with the Office Manager.
Performing Basic Accounting:
Process patient payments and assist in preparing financial statements alongside the PCC and/or Biller.
Ensuring Equipment Works:
Ensure all dental equipment is operational and report any issues.
Maintaining the Reception Area:
Keep the reception area tidy and professional.
Handling Test Results:
Manage x-rays and other test results appropriately.
