Dental Hygiene Patient Care Coordinator
We are a high-level prosthodontic practice in Foggy Bottom, NW Washington, DC seeking a full-time Hygiene Patient Coordinator. We are looking for an exceptional person to take over the position to primarily work from our main office in NW Washington, DC and occasionally in our office in McLean, VA location. We must find someone who is well organized, ambitious, has great communication skills and loves interacting with people and must have dental experience. Job Description
· Full time position with Monday – Thursday hours from 7:15 AM to 4:45 PM. Friday hours from 7:15 AM to 1:15pm
Scheduling appointments for Hygienists and doctors when needed
Maintaining productive and current hygiene schedule
Reviewing the daily hygiene schedule at morning meetings
Checking patients in and maintaining current medical history, necessary forms and information needed
Communicating with patients about their treatment plans
Answering phone calls and returning emails
Patient scheduling, billing and collections on a daily basis
Experience and Qualifications
· Must have 2 - 3 years experience in a top level, deadline oriented professional environment as a dental care coordinator
· Experience using Denticon dental software
· Must be articulate and detailed oriented
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· You must be extremely well organized and take care of tasks in a timely manner
· Be a great communicator within your team, doctors and patients
· Motivated self-starter with strong leadership, organizational and analytic skills
