About the Role
As a Treatment Coordinator , you will play a key role in enhancing the patient experience by providing essential information about treatment plans, helping patients understand their options, and assisting with scheduling and financial arrangements. This role is crucial in ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment decisions,
Responsibilities
Educate patients and families on treatment options, procedures, and oral health maintenance, ensuring they understand their choices.
Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities, providing clear explanations and support.
Coordinate treatment plans, appointments, and follow-ups to ensure smooth and organized patient care.
Collaborate with dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment strategies tailored to each patient's needs.
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring thorough and up-to-date documentation.
Stay informed on industry trends, dental procedures, and insurance regulations to provide the best possible support and guidance to patients.
Assist in creating financial arrangements and payment plans that work for patients, balancing affordability with timely treatment.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or dental fields is a plus.
Required: At least 2 years experience as a dental treatment coordinator
Successful completion of the initial online assessment provided during the application process.
Strong understanding of dental insurance, claims processing, and financial arrangements.
Willingness to work 2 Saturdays a month.
Positive, friendly attitude with a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Skills :
Proven sales skills with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships with children and families.
Proficiency in dental terminology, treatment procedures, and patient management software.
Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy in documentation and patient records.
