We are an orthodontic office in South Orange County with a fun, comfortable, and family friendly environment in a state of the art modern facility! We are looking for a long term employee that is willing to grow and has healthcare experience. We prefer at least one year of dental front desk experience, but we are willing to train the right person. Most importantly, we are looking for a candidate with a positive, contagious attitude that can connect with our patients and is eager to learn and grow with our office. Lots of growth potential!!!
This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of treatment coordination to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for our patients. We are looking for someone that can engage with patients, advocate for orthodontic treatment, effectively communicate treatment options, and coordinate scheduling. Sales experience is preferred.
Pay: 22-33/hour + bonuses

Responsibilities:
Treatment Coordination:
Act as a liaison between patients, orthodontists, and other team members to coordinate treatment plans.
Guide patients from their initial phone call, to their consultation, to beginning treatment.
Demonstrate a genuine passion for our orthodontic services.
Schedule appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits according to treatment protocols.
Create positive relationships with patients
Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes.
Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Insurance Processing:
Verify and process insurance coverage for orthodontic treatments.
Communicate with insurance providers to obtain pre-authorizations and verify benefits.
Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
Resolve any insurance-related issues or discrepancies effectively and efficiently.
Financial Management:
Provide transparent and comprehensive explanations of treatment costs and payment options to patients.
Collect and process payments, including copayments, deductibles, and balances.
Assist patients with financing options, payment plans, and insurance claims submissions.
Administrative Support:
Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining patient files.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in dental or orthodontic office administration, insurance coordination, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in dental or medical insurance terminology, billing codes, and claims processing procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and insurance providers.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in computer applications, including dental software and Microsoft Office suite.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
