    Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a dentist at our practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and patient satisfaction.

    Patient Care within Scope of Practice:

    Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including performing routine check-ups, dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other necessary procedures within the scope of dental practice.

    Conduct thorough examinations, assess oral health conditions, and diagnose dental diseases or abnormalities.

    Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote optimal dental health.

    EHR Documentation of Patient Visit:

    Document patient visits accurately and thoroughly in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with documentation standards and legal requirements.

    Record relevant patient information, including medical history, examination findings, treatment provided, and any recommendations or follow-up plans.

    Regularly review and update patient records to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.

    Treatment Planning:

    Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient assessments, diagnoses, and individual needs.

    Communicate treatment options, risks, and benefits to patients, and involve them in the decision-making process.

    Collaborate with specialists or other healthcare professionals as needed to coordinate patient care and referrals.

    X-Ray Interpretation:

    Interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic images to assess oral health conditions, identify abnormalities, and support accurate treatment planning.

    Recognize and diagnose dental conditions such as cavities, periodontal disease, and oral pathology through the interpretation of radiographic findings.

    Communicate and discuss the results of X-ray interpretations with patients, providing necessary explanations and treatment recommendations.

    Knowledge and Experience: Essential:

    Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry and licensed as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in the State of Oklahoma.

    Strong clinical skills in general dentistry

    Outstanding communicator, both written and orally.

    Proficiency in MS Office and electronic medical records system software.

    Highly motivated to serve as many patients as possible in the time allotted, while ensuring quality care and respecting and preserving the dignity of every patient.

    Desirable:

    Prior experience in private dental practice or public/community health center
