Job Description
The Depot Manager will be responsible for leading and managing 3 to 6 distribution yards across North America. They will be responsible for inventory management and are expected to develop specific strategies for each site to help further market penetration of Techo-Bloc products. Depot Manger will work directly with Sales to align company goals and expectations, thus creating an appealing destination for Techo-Bloc customers. The Depot Manager will be required to travel regularly to each of the locations they oversee, visiting each location approximately every 2 months, unless an issue arises that requires more frequent attention at a specific site. This will involve a total of 18 to 36 visits per year, depending on the number of yards managed. The Manager will be accountable for all activities at each site and will provide regular updates and recommendations to the Distribution Operations Manager.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **
Employee Management:
Onsite Management : Travel to all assigned distribution yards
Inventory Managemen t: Inventory must be accurate and properly packaged and positioned
Distribution Image : Yards and warehouses are expected to maintain high levels of cleanliness
Customer Orders : Fulfilling orders, partial pallets, and sample requests for customers and sales reps
Administrative Duties: Receive invoices, order supplies, create purchase orders
Safety : Ensure a safe work environment for both employees and customers
Equipment maintenance: Keep records and schedule maintenance for equipment

Certifications/Licenses:
Driver’s License
Education/Experience:
High school Diploma or Equivalent; and five to seven years related experience and/or training.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, clients, customers, and the public.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spread sheet software; internet software; database software and contract management systems.
