    Job Summary/Responsibilities AECOM is seeking a Deputy Project Manager for the opportunity to assist with the management of exciting projects for a wide range of clients while to grow into a project manager role. The selected candidate will manage task orders primarily associated with an existing multi-year contract or provide support on large projects. The position includes working with interdisciplinary technical leads to coordinate the successful capture and execution of projects in design and construction. Responsibilities include a proven track record of:

    • Support preparing scope and fee proposals for mulit-discipline projects
    • Managing and directing professional and technical staff to complete a wide variety of architectural and engineering projects.
    • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for capture and execution of projects.
    • Supporting delivery of projects to be on time, within scope and within budget while meeting client expectations with high quality
    • Developing and monitoring a detailed project plan and schedule to track progress and identify shortfalls in a timely manner.
    • Supporting risk management to minimize project risks.
    • Maintaining project documentation control.
    • Preparing, coordinating and facilitating project meeting: Preparing and maintaining the agenda with associated meeting minutes
    • Reviewing financial metrics including as sold profit, billings and collection management against actuals
    • Receiving positive client feedback in conjunction with aiding to achieve contractual performance and financial milestones across the lifespan of multiyear / multitask order contracts.

    • Ability to learn and desire to support the overall success of projects.
    • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for a wide variety of audiences
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements :

    • BA/BS in Engineering or Architecture with +2 years of relevant experience managing A/E Design Projects or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

    Preferred Qualifications :

    • 4+ years of related experience, and 6 years managing A/E projects
    • Experience managing A/E Design projects for Federal Projects for clients such as DOD, NPS, or DOE
    • Strong leadership and communication skills necessary to coordinate multi-discipline teams
    • History of making decisions to drive successful project execution
    • Licensed PE or RA
    • Ability to work in Fast-paced environment and Coordinate with multiple stakeholders
