Engineer (Robot Controls and Dressout)
Responsible for designing controls and dressout solutions for the to boost customer satisfaction and project profitability through efficient, accurate execution.
Key Duties:
Engineer custom solutions based on project quotes, change orders, and customer needs.
Develop dressout specs and collaborate with suppliers.
Create drawings for robot dressout, air/water prep, J3 pneumatics, and controller interfaces.
Order robot configs, dressouts, and interfaces per specs and timelines.
Conduct design reviews and ensure ISO-compliant accuracy.
Update project teams and management regularly.
Guide customers on applications, implementation, and design approvals.
Release engineering packages in ERP system.
Enhance Engineering Standards and ISO processes.
Optimize costs with efficient, low-cost designs.
Assist manufacturing/integration, including testing for run-off validation.
Deliver technical presentations for training.
Troubleshoot failures, presenting root causes and fixes to customers.
Support integrators and line builders with robotic installations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or both) or equivalent experience.
2+ years in industrial automation design with CAD.
Skilled in reading/creating electrical, mechanical dressout, and pneumatic prints.
Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
