    General Requirements:

    Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required, with the ability to convey technical information. Strong leadership and team collaboration. Ability to troubleshoot and think critically in order to solve complex problems in a fast paced environment. Capacity to deliver quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Work requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule. Must have strong work ethics, be detail oriented, have a professional attitude, be reliable, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Civil or related) is required, a minimum of 1-5 years of experience in project engineering or related field. Proficient in project management software, excel, and drafting design software (Autodesk, Cadworx, or Solidworks) with a strong understanding of engineering principles. General working knowledge of applicable governing codes. (ASME, API, ISO, etc)

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Create detailed designs and specifications for new products and components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).

    Perform product analysis and simulations (e.g., stress, thermal, or fluid flow simulations) to ensure design feasibility and functionality.

    Develop and refine prototypes for testing and validation.

    Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality or performance.

    Troubleshoot design issues and collaborate with the testing team to resolve product flaws during the prototype or production phases.

    Uses computer-assisted engineering software and equipment.

    Analyzes data to determine feasibility of product proposal.

    Analyzes product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.

    Analyzes engineering proposals, process requirements, and related technical data pertaining to industrial machinery and equipment design.

    Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all design work, including technical drawings, specifications, and design change records.

    Ensure proper version control for design files and collaborate with manufacturing teams for seamless implementation.

    Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technological changes and developments in industry.
