    Job Description

    McDonald’s is seeking a Learning Experience Design Manager for our Global Functional Development team. This role supports our McDonald’s Global Cyber Security team within Global Technology, driving innovation and efficiency in designing modern learning experiences. You will report to the Director of Functional Development and partner closely with the Senior Manager of Governance, Compliance, and Communications. Together, you will create immersive, engaging content for global deployment in over 12 languages.

    In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Partner with the Director of Functional Development and Senior Manager of Governance, Compliance, and Communications to innovate and enhance learning experiences.
    • Create and deliver scalable, high-impact, human-centered learning solutions for McDonald’s Global Cyber Security.
    • Manage program design and development timelines and budgets.
    • Oversee stakeholder expectations and feedback, communicating short- and long-term design strategies.
    • Collaborate with business and learning partners to achieve project goals, manage ad-hoc requests, and understand learner needs.
    • Promote the adoption of design processes and changes.
    • Analyze data to identify user trends and improvement areas.
    • Curate and organize content for easy navigation.
    • Ensure documentation is free of errors and effectively conveys key messages.
    • Participate in course reviews and testing to ensure quality and alignment with objectives.
    • Share expertise in instructional and experience design to build a reputation as a trusted advisor.

    The expected salary range for this role is $98,140 – $125,130 ** __** per year

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Experience in learning strategy, design, development, systems/technology
    • Experience creating & designing training modules globally
    • Experience with Articulate Storyline is preferred
    • Proven ability to prioritize and simplify the complex
    • Strong business acumen and insight, with the ability to translate strategic business goals into appropriate development and talent programs that balance the evolving priorities of the organization
    • Strong project management skills on complex and evolving work; must document and communicate project plans, monitor work in progress, and achieve project milestones/ results
    • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
    • Experience in transformation-related work is a preferred
