    What’s this role about?

    The Project Developer (PD) is an integral part of our team, guiding homeowners from concept to contract and ensuring a seamless transition to production. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on both creative and technical aspects of home renovation - blending residential design, estimating, and client management into one dynamic position.

    As a Project Developer, you’ll shape project concepts, create architectural drawings, specify materials, and develop precise estimates to ensure project feasibility. You’ll work closely with homeowners, project managers, and field staff to bring stunning renovations to life - whether it’s a custom kitchen remodel, a spa-like bathroom transformation, or a whole-home renovation.

    What you will do:

    • Lead project development from consultation to contract, aligning scope, design, and budget.
    • Develop detailed project specs and scope documents based on Pre-Construction Agreements.
    • Create architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
    • Estimate project costs by managing bids, site meetings, RFIs, and cost evaluations.
    • Guide homeowners through design selections to ensure feasibility and budget alignment.
    • Maintain strong client relationships with clear communication and smooth execution.
    • Secure contracts and ensure a seamless handoff to the Production team.
    • Support business development by building relationships with clients and industry partners.

    How you will spend your time:

    • 60% – Design & Pre-Construction Services: Lead projects from initial concept to contract, ensuring design feasibility, scope development, and budget alignment. This includes creating architectural drawings, coordinating with vendors and trade partners, and guiding homeowners through selections.
    • 20% – Estimating & Cost Development: Develop detailed estimates, conduct material take-offs, gather subcontractor bids, and ensure pricing accuracy.
    • 15% – Production Support & Handoff: Oversee the transition to the production team, prepare final construction documentation, coordinate permits, and provide support throughout construction.
    • 5% – Business Development & Client Follow-Up: Maintain relationships with past clients and industry partners, following up on completed projects and gathering testimonials and referrals.

    What you will bring:

    • 5+ years in residential remodeling design, drafting, estimating, and sales.
    • Knowledge of / experience designing and selling a “national brand” cabinet line
    • Proficiency in using design programs (e.g., 20/20, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.) and project management programs (Excel, BuilderTrend, JobTread, etc.).
    • Knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and codes.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Preferred experience in: Designing high-end kitchens, bathrooms, primary suites, basements, and/or outdoor living spaces.
    • Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    What you will get:

    • $65,000 - $85,000 plus, based on experience
