    Job Description

    The centralized on-air graphics team for NBCUniversal Local, The Arthouse, is seeking a graphic designer with a television design background. This person should have design and leadership skills, and be able to work on individual daily assignments as well as long-term team projects. The Arthouse supports NBC Universal Local NBC and Telemundo stations across the country, along with Regional Sports Network, NBC Cable Channels and Streaming platforms.

    Responsibilities :

    • Proactively identify and resolve design-related issues
    • Work with the entire team to maintain established design standards and brands
    • Provide positive customer support
    • Receptive of art direction and feedback from leadership
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • At least 4 years’ experience with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
    • Must provide still and motion examples of work
    • Willing and able to work in Fort Worth, Texas (just south of DFW Airport)
    • Flexibility in schedules and assignments for this 24/7/365 industry
    • Must be able to work nights and weekends
    • Must work well in a collaborative, team environment and be able to multitask
    • Must be 18 years or greater
    • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
    • Must accept Solutions as NBCUniversal’s Alternative Dispute Resolution program

    Desired Skills :

    • Bilingual in Spanish/English
    • A self-starter with strong communication skills and a dedicated, customer-focused approach to servicing a large, deadline-driven client base
    • Demonstrate solid creative skills and the ability to take art direction
    • Map software knowledge, Google Maps/Ross XPression
    • Production experience with a company and/or news station is a plus
    • Experience with Cinema 4D

    Additional Requirements:

    • Required On-Site : This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
