    About the Role

    DevOps engineers at Anza are passionate builders, empathetic communicators, and proactive contributors. In this role, you’ll take ownership of large sections of our cloud infrastructure and help reinforce our culture of automated DevOps excellence. You’ll work closely with engineering and operations to deploy, maintain, and optimize our system using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure repeatable, reliable, and secure deployments and practices. You’ll also have influence and a seat at the table for defining the overall engineering culture of Anza and ensuring we set a high bar for software development excellence.

    We’re cloud native (GCP), built entirely through Terraform, and our technical stack is made up of TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL. We care deeply about developer experience and invest extensively into engineering best practices.

    Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Build and Maintain GCP infrastructure with Terraform and automation scripts
    • Ensure our CI/CD pipelines are reliable, robust, and improve developer experience
    • Be an active participant in our release processes
    • Provide cloud architecture guidance to engineering teams
    • Work to ensure the overall health and reliability of our systems by supporting monitoring, logging, security reviews, and various health checks
    • Champion technically sound and well-designed enhancements to our cloud infrastructure

    While no one individual will possess them all, the successful candidate will bring many of the following experiences, skills, and attributes:

    • 6+ years of DevOps Experience
    • Extensive experience supporting cloud native applications (GCP or similar)
    • Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
    • Ability to clearly communicate your ideas and requirements to engineering stakeholders
    • Desire to work on a small team and manage your own deliverablesDemonstrated coding ability
